An Electric Control Ball Valve is a valve that rotates around the axis of the valve stem according to this movement of the valve flap. It is mainly used to truncate or connect the medium in the pipeline, and can also be used for fluid regulation and control, and it is a kind of pipe pressure element of industrial automatic process control.
Matters need attention: Ball Valve Electric actuator is an indispensable drive control device to realize the program control, automatic control and remote control. Its motion process is controlled by the stroke and torque. Because the working characteristics and utilization rate of the electric ball valve actuator depend on the type and characteristics of the Electric Valve, the correct selection of the ball valve actuator is crucial to prevent the overload phenomenon. The actuator output torque is the most important parameter for selecting the electric actuator. The actuator output torque shall be 1.2~1.5 times the maximum torque of the selected ball valve operation. Secondly, according to the different use conditions of the Flange Ball Valve, choose the appropriate opening and closing speed, so as to prevent the ball valve actuator from opening and closing speed too fast water hit phenomenon.
The electric ball valve actuator has its special requirements, that is, must be able to limit the torque (axial force) and rotation angle. When the electric device specification is determined, the control torque is also determined. Generally, they are run at a predetermined time, and the motor is not overloaded. However, the following conditions may lead to overload: First, the low power voltage and the required torque can stop the motor; the torque limiting mechanism is wrongly adjusted on the second hand, greater than the stopped torque; on the other hand, the ambient temperature used is too high, and the heat capacity of the motor is decreased.
1. The ambient temperature should be controlled within-25℃ -70℃.
2. In several cases, we should choose the explosion-proof electric ball valve, with unstable current, environmental corrosion, flammable and explosive occasions, special medium, and a long time without maintenance, etc.
3. Due to the complexity of the electric mechanism, faults should not be dismantled to prevent accidents.
4. Under no circumstances shall the electric ball valve be knocked or put together.
Debugging: Electric valve actuator is generally composed of electronic control part and power part, so the common faults in Electric Ball Valve actuator can be divided into control part fault and power part fault. Below, we introduce in detail the common faults of the lower power part and its cause analysis and elimination measures. The power of the Electric Ball Valve actuator is generally provided by the motor, so it is necessary to master some knowledge of the motor. In this way, we can timely find and eliminate the accident hidden danger of the electric motor on the electric actuator as timely as possible, to ensure the safe operation of the electric actuator and the Electric Valve.
Mechanical failure:
1、Motor sweep: the gap between the motor stator and the rotor is very small, easy to lead to the collision between the stator and the rotor. But the occurrence of machine seat, end cover, rotor three different axis phenomenon, will cause fixed, rotor between the collision, which is often said to sweep the chamber. Common factors causing different shaft phenomenon are: motor bearing serious super poor, the end cover and the seat hole wear and deformation. If these phenomena are found, the bearings should be replaced, or the end cover should be replaced or painted.
2、Motor vibration: the vibration should be caused by the motor itself, or caused by the bad transmission device, or transmitted by the mechanical load end, and then excluded according to the specific situation. The vibration caused by the motor itself is mostly caused by the poor dynamic balance of the rotor, and the poor bearings, the rotating shaft bending, or the end cover, the seat, the rotor is different shaft, or the motor installation foundation is uneven, the installation is not in place, the fastener is loose caused. Vibration creates noise and creates additional loads.
3、Bearing work is not normal: if the bearing work is not normal, it can be judged by hearing and temperature by experience. Contact the bearing box with a listening rod (copper rod). If you hear an impact sound, it means that one or several balls may be broken. If you hear a sizzling sound, it means that the bearing lubricating oil is insufficient. When adding grease is not easy to add too much, if too much will make the rotating part of the bearing and the grease between a large friction and heat, generally the bearing box is about half to two-thirds of the grease. If the bearing is not installed correctly, and the coordination tolerance is too tight or too loose, it will also cause the bearing heating.
