1. Floating ball: the sphere of the ball valve is floating. Under the action of the medium pressure, the sphere can produce a certain displacement and press it on the sealing surface of the exit end to ensure the sealing of the outlet end. The structure of the floating ball valve is simple and the sealing is good, but the load of the sphere under the working medium is all passed to the outlet sealing ring, so consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the sphere medium. Under high pressure impact, the sphere may be offset. This structure is generally used for medium and low pressure ball valves.

2. Fixed ball: The sphere of the ball valve is fixed and does not move after pressure. The fixed ball ball valve is equipped with a floating valve seat. After receiving the medium pressure, the valve seat moves to press the sealing ring on the sphere to ensure the sealing. Usually with the sphere on the upper and lower shaft is equipped with a bearing, operating a small torque, suitable for high pressure and large caliber valves. In order to reduce the operating torque of the ball valve and increase the reliability of the seal, the lubricating oil, to form an oil film, which enhances the sealing, and reduces the operating torque, more suitable for high pressure and large caliber ball valve.

3.Elastic ball: The sphere of the ball valve is elastic. The sphere and the valve seat sealing ring are made of metal material, the sealing specific pressure is very large, relying on the pressure of the medium itself has not reached the requirements of sealing, the external force must be applied. This valve is suitable for high temperature and high pressure media. An elastic sphere opens an elastic groove at the lower end of the inner wall of the sphere and obtains elasticity. When closing the channel, use the wedge head of the stem to open the sphere with the seat pressure to reach the seal. Release the wedge head before turning the sphere, and the sphere returns its original shape, creating a small gap between the sphere and the seat, reducing the friction and operating torque of the sealing surface.
